My Perfect Occasion can offer you a range of cakes made with the best of organic and/or fairtrade ingredients to grace your Christmas and New Year celebrations!

All cakes are available with or without icing, from prices as little as £25.00

PLAIN SPONGE

A melt-in-your-mouth, lightly spiced cake, which can be enjoyed at home without icing for everyday tea or iced for a special occasion.

Simplicity at its best, this cake is made with eggs, sugar, flour, butter and a hint of spice (optional).

If you prefer a bit more flavor, this cake can be made into a lemon drizzle cake, sultana/sherry cake or any other twist on a plain sponge!

CHOCOLATE SPONGE

Using the same core ingredients of our plain sponge cake, our chocolate delight is rich in flavour and light in texture, giving you a heavenly chocolate experience each time you taste a slice.

Chocolate heaven is created with eggs, dark brown muscavado sugar, flour, baking powder, cocoa, dark chocolate (melted) butter, vanilla essence and golden syrup.

BANANA CAKE

A hearty cake that is good at all times of the day! Banana cake can be enjoyed with butter and a slice of cheese for a breakfast that contains vitamins and minerals to keep you full until lunch – great for picky eaters! It also makes an unusual celebration cake that can be decorated with nuts or dried fruit for those of us who prefer a cake without the icing.

Our banana cake contains eggs, flour, dark or light brown sugar, ripe bananas, pecan nuts or walnuts (optional), spices, bicarbonate of soda, salt (optional) and dried apricots,


RICH FRUIT CAKE

This is a cake for when you want to spoil your family or have a special event to cater for – Graduation, Birthday’s, Corporate events, Baby showers and New Baby celebrations, as well as Wedding, Anniversary and Christmas events- this is the cake for you!!

Our celebration cakes are made with the finest dried fruit soaked in rum or non-alcoholic wine or grape juice (your choice) and will be the best you ever had!

Additional ingredients; flour, dark brown sugar, eggs, butter, dried fruit, rum/wine or juice, natural colouring (from soaked fruit) spices and vanilla or almond essence.  
As far as possible, all our ingredients are organic. Where organic ingredients are not available, you will be informed. Fairtrade ingredients are used where fully organic is not available. If you have specific dietary requirements, please let us know and we will do our best to accommodate them in the preparation of your order.

Our cakes do not contain nuts unless specified. However, we cannot guarantee a nut-free kitchen in the preparation of the cakes we offer.
